Grades posted and the final relief of the end of the semester has arrived. Job very well done! Summer is a great time, full of adventures. Lucky for me, I get to go visit the warmth of Orlando before I head out to Granby, Colorado for the summer. Gabe needs some help moving and establishing a plethora of baby items. Cash Aaron Wolverton is coming sooner by the day. Orlando will be a good trip to get some warmth and visit the southland. I am hoping for Lacey to keep me company and maybe drive a few hours, to relieve road hypnotism. Until then, Lacey turns 21 on the 3rd and the Fifth Third Riverbank run is approaching. I finally invested in some new kicks to provide some comfort for my body while I stride miles, I am learning how important it is to care for my muscles. Recycling is now in summer mode on campus, and I am happy to be able to walk away from it this summer. It will be a relief to not have to rely on my school job for the summer. I need to start my orienteering lesson for camp and figure out how I will present the natural history of Colorado to my fellow sherpas, time to pull out the book of creativity.

Summer has arrived, school is complete, another year down. One year remains, the last hurdle to graduation. It's wonderful to be done with a semester, looking back it is always hard to believe how much stuff you can fit into one semester. Just a few weeks remain before my Colorado adventures begin. I am so excited to work at camp again, and now that school has ended I can put my mind on the mountains. Unfortunately I became single this week, but life will continue. Fortunately relationships only make you stronger, and I learned a lot about life and Love in the past 7 months. The sun is shinning on a bright future.

Congratulations to a friend of mine, 1st hole-in-one this week; could'see it coming

Classes are completed for the semester, and finals are all that remain! What a week, I was actually surprised because I finally removed procrastination from my schoolwork and had a stress free week, due to some 'money' pre-planning. Day one of the ultimate tournament went well, personally, but on the team side of things, not as well as we would of liked. The day was beautiful and it was nice to be out in the heat. My face is burned and my body sore, but luckily I made it through the day with my knee in tact. After some very vigorous stretching I have much more mobility, and I continue to believe that stretching could be the secret to my aches and pains. With only four more days until the beginning of summer break, which will be kicked off by Block Bash 2009, I find it difficult to control my mind from wandering out west; I am eagerly anticitipating summer break. It will be wonderful to be finished with my forth year of school, only one more to go!

I am looking forward to spring thunderstorms.

The road trip to east lansing for some hiking boots may have been a bust, but I was able to finally use a citgo gas card from Christmas (hardest gas station to find) and I pulled a $120 pair of birkenstocks out of the trash; trip justified. I pulled into the drive way after not being home for a couple solid months and realzied what I had been missing. Easter sugar cookies (bunnies and eggs) were decorated, jell-o eggs, reeses eggs in the candy dish, easter m&m's and easter decorations filled my house. It was a beautiful spring weeekend so I challeneged chris to a tennis proset, which was a nail bitter but I pulled through in the end, 9-8. I also visited the Zoo for a run, and relaized just how long it has been since I have been there, years. Their trails were perfect for a sunday afternoon trail run. Mom spent many winter hours completeing the largest afgan blanket you have ever been under, I was lucky enough to be recieve it this weekend which amplified my weekend. Sunday morning, I was tired from celebrating Ashely's 21 with a fun Griffin crowd, but finally woke to a beautiful day and an Easter basket full of Easter goodies, including the tradional kite), waiting in the living room, topping off my Easter weekend.

Conogratulations to all friends; doing big things, internships, grad schools, graduations!

The sun is beginning to bring us warmth, finally. It was a beautiful day for a run, the first run in roughly 2 weeks. Wind at my face helped flush the tear ducts but it was a comfortable run. I made sure to stretch, as far as I could, to prevent more pain. I collected all my courage today and finally made the calls that I had put on the procrastination list, and they even went well. It's that time of the semester; the turning point, the next week will be a blur and the following the same. Summer will be epic.

The awaited trip to the physical therapist finally came, today. The knee problems have become too annoying and painful. She was a jolly lady who lived in Africa for most of her life and raised her children there before moving to the US. Having a nice physical therapist helps to ease your mind while they inflict intense pain into your muscles, but it all feels better in the end. As a result I got some good stretches to do and a couple relaxed muscles; for now. Not only did I leave with a diagnosis and some planned treatments to heal the knee, but also some African National Parks information, and a 10% off certificate for a pair of new shoes...i guess my sneakers tell a story.

Goal: Stretch more after biking and other athletics.
